Kids and family events abound in the great country of Australia. For annual events, it doesn’t get much better then Australia Day fireworks. January 26th is the day to gather up the kids, pack a blanket and head over to a big event in your neck of the woods.
In Melbourne, you can head over to Federation Square or Parliament House at the Federation Mall if you happen to be in the Canberra area. In Sydney, Hyde Park is the big attraction, as there is live entertainment, food, and activities for the little ones. Don’t forget the fireworks!
For Christmas, there is an abundance of things to do with your family. You can check out the Christmas on Bondi Beach Celebration in New South Wales, where kids can play in the surf and exchange gifts. Carols by the Bay in Sandown Park in Tasmania is a great family event. The lighting of the gigantic Christmas tree in Civic, Canberra is sure to wow your little ones.
