Entertainment Equipment

Entertainment Equipment and What You Need

Are you throwing a big event and are sticker shocked at how much a DJ can cost?  If you are a big party planner then it may make sense to invest in entertainment equipment yourself.

DJ Equipment can be rather costly, so find out if buying or renting makes more sense for your situation.  Getting a good mix of songs is the key, as well as knowing your crowd.  Weddings call for mostly sappy slow love songs, and bad dance music.

Other entertainment equipment you may want to look into renting or buying is a jukebox or karaoke machine.  Why spend hours putting together music, when you can let your guests entertain themselves?  Just remember to cut it off at the right time if there are drinks flowing.  If someone has to hold on to the microphone stand to keep from falling over, you know it’s probably time to call it a night!

Lighting is another good thing to rent or buy, as lighting can really help set the mood for an event.  You can rent everything from large spot lights, to disco balls, to even coloured lights that help keep people dancing.

Check your local city’s entertainment equipment rentals stores, or check online to find good deals near you.
